Kickoff Picnic Recap

Saturday Sept 21 was the EISC kickoff/picnic gathering at Meadowlark Shelter, Wanatee Park. It was well attended by about 65 members. A short club meeting was led by President Marty Stimson and Vice President Steve Cummings. Mary Day reported on the recently completed bus trip to Washington DC. Ruth VanTol promoted continued signups for the Whitefish MT ski trip. Todd Eadie discussed several ideas for other special activities, as well as weekend ski trips to Baraboo, WI and Sundown/Chestnut coming up in 2025. Diane Reinertson introduced an opportunity to travel the Canadian Rockies by train in Sept 2025 and signups were taken for the trip. The grill was started about 5:00 and lots of great food was enjoyed by all. It is the great participation by our members that makes for a fun gathering!
