A group of 12 hungry members attended the March EISC Culinary event at Olde Brick House in Lindale Mall. Although the group was here a couple of years ago, it was still just as good as the last time. However, we were saddened to learn that this will be the last time, as the owners have decided to change the restaurant from an Irish pub to an American pub, effective right after St. Patrick’s Day. The food was great, portion sizes were good (not many people took home leftovers), and prices were very reasonable. We all enjoyed good food, drinks, and conversation; it remains to be seen if the new version is as good as the original. For people who might want to recreate the memory, or really like the food, the three original locations in Minnesota remain open.
The next culinary event will be at Ox Yoke Inn in the Amanas (4420 220th Trail, Amana) on Tuesday, April 15th at 6:00 pm.
