The November Thanksgiving Ski Club meeting gave all the ski club members a reason to be thankful and giving was the central theme. With 61 members in attendance, $608 was donated by club members to the Linn County Food bank along with 50 pounds of food. As Dave Ramsey would say, “live like no one else so that you can give like no one else”.
Brad and Denise Langhoff kicked off the meeting with a slide presentation of their bicycle adventure tour of Ireland last summer. Wow did that look like fun! That presentation was enough to make anyone want to sign up for the Fall 2026 EISC
Highlights of Ireland and Scotland tour! As always, the food was spectacular!
Other highlights were the upcoming ski trips and bicycle trip announcements. Be sure to attend the December 20th ski club Christmas party at the Knights of Columbus and flaunt your ugly Christmas sweater. See you there!
