Brian Kruse
Brian recently joined EISC in August 2025. Brian enjoys skiing and is looking forward to trips with new friends with the club. Brian and his wife Melanie live on an acreage near Durant, Iowa and they have a son who is a junior in high school. As a family, on most years, they have taken ski vacations in Colorado usually focusing on Breckenridge. Brian retired from John Deere in April 2025. Beyond skiing, Brian enjoys biking, jogging, walking, occasional golf, and home/acreage projects. A few months ago, Brian joined other EISC members on a bike ride to Solon, IA and purchased an EISC Bike Jersey. Welcome Brian!
Bob & Diane Schutten
Bob & Diane joined EISC in October 2025. They moved to Iowa City in May 2024 from the Chicago suburbs. Diane retired from 29 years as a Blackjack dealer when they moved to Iowa. Diane currently works 2 days a week at Aero Rental in Iowa City, just to get out of the house. Bob retired from his "day job" (an account manager with a company in the Printing Industry) this past July. He is also a psychotherapist (LCPC), which he continues his small private practice. They both love to workout in their home gym, go to the theatre, and adventure around Eastern Iowa. Diane's number one passion is gardening. She loves growing plants and landscaping their property. Diane likes skiing, "is semi-retired", but will ski locally in the Midwest. Bob loves skiing and does not have any plans to slow down. They joined EISC mostly for the social aspect and are happy and grateful for how welcoming and friendly everyone has been. Welcome Bob & Diane!
