A big thank you to Diane Anderson, Kim Betts, Pat Boland, Denny Bossard, Gary Delecky, Mary Day, Todd Eadie, Darryl Hokanson, Jan Vauthrin, and Sarah Wittnebel for volunteering to participate in the annual Salvation Army Bell Ringing 2025!
We had two good weather days for the bell ringing with some sunshine and a few clouds. Thankfully we did not have the major snow storms on the days we were scheduled to ring! Many people thanked our teams for volunteering and people were generous with their contributions. Due to one mix-up of volunteer time (Pat made a mistake…I know that’s hard to believe!) but with the help of Amy Feight at Salvation Army, we were able to fill an available timeslot at Walmart on Blarisferry Road NE at the grocery entrance (Thanks Diane Anderson for filling this slot!). The Salvation Army reported that our club participants raised approximately $760 and they are very appreciative of our help each year. If you haven’t participated in this event in the past, please consider participating next year.
