Nearly 60 people attended the ski club winter wonderland extravaganza (Member meeting) at the KC Hall Sat night, December 20th. Ok, so it was only 57 and the decorations were repurposed, but it was a whole lot of fun, the food was amazing, the drinks were cold, the company was merry and the Bears won. Vice President Steve says 2026 looks to be a fun filled year!
The next major event is everyone’s favorite culinary experience the soup and chili cook off. This no holds barred competitive event involves everyone bringing their special soup or chili crock pot and the judges rate the best of the best. Bring your secret family delight and make this a night to remember. Valuable prizes await. This event is held in the nice Red Cedar lodge at Wanatee park next to the sledding hill and the cross-country ski trails. Come early to ski and sled and stay late for the party.
The Winter Park and Steamboat trips are full, but the Stillwater MN trip may still have openings. Stillwater is the “Galena” of MN (neat shops and exquisite food) along with great skiing at Wild Mt and Welch Village. Miss a day, miss a lot with this club.
