Our June Culinary Night was a great success! On Tuesday the 9th, twelve of our ski club members gathered at the Sacred Cow (part of the Fun Not Fancy Restaurant Group), nestled in a charming neighborhood just outside the NewBo District. We packed a cozy table full of laughter, drinks, and fantastic conversation. The menu had a little something for everyone, with choices ranging from fresh salads to hearty sandwiches and classic fish and chips. If you missed out, you definitely missed a delightful night of socializing! Save the Date for July!
Our next Culinary Night is just around the corner, and we’re heading back out to support another fantastic local spot. Mark your calendars for Tuesday, July 14th, when we will be meeting up at the Mercury Diner. You can find it right in the heart of the NewBo District, located inside the old Chrome Horse building at 1201 3rd St SE in Cedar Rapids. Come hungry, bring your appetite for fun, and let’s fill another table.
