The annual Corn Roast will be hosted by Sally Williams, rain or shine, at her farm near the Eastern Iowa Airport.  Cost is FREE.

The weather has been hot and humid, so Sally will be prepared at her home, garage, porch area under the big shade trees. Should we get some rain, Sally will open her home so we can escape the weather. Or if you can, bring a pop-up canopy for outdoor use.

·       Activities will start at 3:00pm.    We will be taking membership dues if yours expires soon.

·       Come early to help husk and cook the sweet corn.

·       Before we eat, we will have a short club meeting at about 5:00 pm.

·       Bring a dish to pass, meat to grill, BYOB (your favorite adult beverage), lawn chair.  Bring some fun outdoor yard games too.  We will eat at about 6:00.

·       We will provide plates, utensils, sweet corn, pop, bottled water, grill and port-a-potty.

How to find it: The address is 5305 Walford Rd, Fairfax, Iowa. From I-380 turn west on Wright Brothers Blvd, turn left (south) at the first gravel road past the airport (Cherry Valley Rd), then turn right (west) on Walford Rd and proceed 1/4-mile. Watch for the farm on the left.  Follow the EISC signs. See you there!
