EISC Member Darryl Hokanson and his band ‘The Cedar River Whalers’ are inviting anyone to attend the Live Music event at Farmers Mercantile Hall in Garrison, IA. (near Vinton, IA) at 100 W. Main St, Garrison, IA The date is Sunday, January 19th from 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. Admission at the door: $12 (per adult) - Children FREE. Home-made food with Freewill donation. Refreshments provided by Garrison Library. There will be plenty of chairs, but there are no tables and no reserve seating so arrive early! This is a fund-raising event to help support the library.
Schedule
- 2:00 – 3:00 pm - Todd Frank and Mark Clark featuring Woody Guthrie songs
- Music Break from 3:00 to 3:30 – Friends of the Library provide wonderful home-made food for a freewill offering, as a fund raiser for the library.
- 3:30 to 4:30 pm - Cedar River Whalers will perform a variety of music (Americana, Bluegrass, Originals and Old-Time Country) with some great 4-part harmonies.
