This is a ski & adventure trip to Stillwater, MN which is a historic river town and is recognized as the birthplace of Minnesota! This a drive yourself / carpool trip that includes a two-night stay at AmericInn by Wyndham - Stillwater, 13025 60th St N, Oak Park Heights, MN 55082. Includes: Double Queens rooms, breakfast, pool & hot tub. AmericInn, Stillwater MN. A block of rooms have been reserved. Click the register button to sign up.
Members can choose from activities such as downhill skiing, hiking or snowshoeing, shopping, dining, attractions and nightlife. Activities, food, travel costs are separate from the cost of the AmercInn hotel near Stillwater. Wild Mountain and Welch Village ski resorts are about 50 minutes from the AmericInn hotel. Minneapolis and Bloomington, (Mall of America) are 30 to 40 minutes from hotel. Stillwater main street is only 10 minutes from the AmericInn hotel.
Trip Itinerary for ski and non-ski activities:
- Friday, February 13th check-in to hotel after 4:00 pm. No welcome reception.
- Saturday, February 14th – breakfast at hotel. Activities available.
Stillwater MN Winter Wonderland – Shopping, dining, sightseeing and nightlife.
Elmo Park Reserve – natural park reserve, hiking, snowshoeing, cross-country trails.
Mall of America – Shopping, dining and much more.
Wild Mountain Tickets – purchase ski lift tickets online. Cost $65 per person plus tax.
Wild Mountain ski trail map – 100 acres, 26 runs and 4 chairlifts.
Dinner Saturday night. (Gio’s, Portside or Crooners Supper Club)
- Sunday, February 15th – breakfast and check-out of hotel.
Hastings, MN – shopping in a small town atmosphere, dining and sightseeing.
Redwing, MN – shopping, dining, American Ski Jump Museum and sightseeing.
Welch Village Tickets - purchase ski lift tickets online. Cost $88 per person plus tax.
Welch Village ski trail map – total 140 acres, 50 trails and 5 chair lifts.
