  Plan on a mid-week ski day on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 at Chestnut Mountain in Galena.  
 
We will join members of the Quad Cites Ski club for a day of skiing. The great thing about skiing midweek at Chestnut is that the prices are reasonable and crowd size is minimal. Those who are 70+ ski FREE, Seniors (55-69) ski for $35 and all others pay $40. Rental for the day (boots, skis and poles) is $35. If it has been a couple of years since you have been on your skis and you hate big crowds, here is your chance to get out and have some wide open spaces to test out your skills.

If skiing isn’t your thing, you may want to shop in Galena and join the group for lunch at the lodge.  
 

No pre-payment is needed. Just bring your ID to show to get the correct pricing for your lift ticket. You can also bring a snack or goodies to share with others during any breaks we take at the lodge.
Please remember you do not have to be an EISC member to participate in this one day event.  This makes it a great opportunity to introduce someone to skiing or get a relative or friend come back to the sport and enjoy a great ski day at a fun Midwest ski hill.
